We are praying God will provide the resources for Mission Global Ministries to have a location and equipment to offer more consistent medical care to the border city of Cùcuta, Colombia. With over 2 million Venezuelan refugees, Cùcuta is in desperate need of help with very few volunteers willing to travel there. While we work to achieve our goal of a medical office in Cùcuta, we currently provide a mobile clinic at local churches working out of suitcases full of supplies.
During our first mission to Cùcuta, we found the water was linked directly to the majority of the health issues we were treating. With preventative health in mind, we have developed a water filter program to filter entire households for only $50. We also provide toothbrushes and toothpaste as well as education on proper hygiene. We even work closely with women who are in desperate need of gynecological medicine and education.

With very few volunteers willing to help in such close proximity to Venezuela, we felt the invitation to help One More Child in Cùcuta, Colombia was our calling from God. Your generous donations help with our travel expenses, medications and supplies to offer a mobile clinic to these Venezuelan refugees in desperate need of medical care.
With so many families in desperate need of healthcare, we have partnered with close to a dozen churches in the Cùcuta area to set up a mobile clinic. Out of our suitcases of basic supplies and equipment we give well evaluations for children and adults, check vitals, give minor wound care, offer sick visits, treatments, medication and health education. We even fund specialists visits that can help with things like eyeglasses, imaging and other emergency needs outside our rural setup.
On our first mission to Colombia we found that most of the health issues we treated came from poor water quality. Contaminated water is making entire households sick, causing developmental problems in children, chronic disease in teens and adults and widespread malnutrition. Parasites and bacteria in the water continue to plague the immune system after we provide treatment. We have found a way to filter entire households for only a $50 setup fee and $10 filter change. With your $50 donation you can change the health of an entire family.
Our goal is to see 100 women after funding their well woman visit. With a $7 donation, you can pay for one well woman visit for her to get a pap-smear, lab results, evaluation, examination and education. After meeting these women and seeing the unsanitary conditions, contaminated water, sexual diseases and little knowledge about personal care; we found that women were suffering quietly. Many only needed basic medication and supplies. Your generous donation will help these women carrying the weight of the family and suffering in silence.
We are so happy to have taken over the funding for 150 children in Bogota & Cùcuta to get meals twice a week. God brought us together with One More Child and we found out that funding was going to end for these kids. Originally funded for 5 years, we picked it up last year after the 5 years ended. We have been able to fund another year for these beautiful children and would like to keep our programs going past March 2025 and with your help we can succeed.
